Story Card
The Bear has always been
worshipped as a sacred animal among the Native American Indians.
Having a Fetish Bear was believed to bring the owner Strength
and Protection. The Bear Fetish lightens the weight of
your emotional burdens and eases your most difficult decisions.
He is a dreamer and at times a helper. Bear is our best
mediator because of all the animals related to the Southwest, it
mostly resembles humans. One of the great powers we have
is the power of turning to solitude...thru which we integrate
new experiences and changes. Solitude is a form of
hibernation. A Fetish Bear is adorned with feathers,
shells, arrowheads, buckskins - symbols of the spiritual world
of the Native Americans. Arrowheads - Great Power of
Rainbow and Lightning. Stones & Shells - heart of the
fetish and helps in the healing powers. Feathers -
messages from the Creator. His Dreamcatcher allows you to
dream only good dreams. The medicine bag holds cornmeal -
his food preference. When called upons for strength, Bear
will answer. |
